First off THANK YOU for allowing us to host at The Clarion. We appreciate every effort to make sure our guests experienced an amazing event hosted at your venue. We especially appreciate how Sarah went above and beyond to accommodate our organization’s requests, vegans guests and making sure we had the exact color red napkin I envisioned. The bar service…exceptional. The entire bar staff were amazing. The signature cocktails had everyone sipping the night away. We received GRAND feedback and look forward to the next.

My wife and daughter gave me a 70th birthday celebration in July and we used the Posh banquet facilities and it was great. I will definitely refer this facility to my family and friends . Everyone was very nice to work with.
This is an awesome place to have a function. We used the Posh banquet room for a 70th birthday celebration for my husband and it was great. Sarah worked really hard to accommodate all of my requests. I will definitely use the Posh banquet room again.

Our executive team and our directors all attended an off site meeting at the Clarion on Friday. It was the first time we have been back to the Clarion since the pandemic for meetings. I heard nothing but great compliments from our team about the room, staff, and food. I wanted to say “KUDOS”. Everyone was very happy! 😊

Everything was stunning and beautiful. I knew it was going to be emotionally challenging for me to plan my father’s celebration of life, but Sarah (senior sales manager) put all of my stress at ease.
She walked us through everything step by step throughout the entire process. She was always just a phone call or email away. She guided us through the tough decisions. And when the day came, she was right there helping set up tables and making suggestions with the desserts.
The venue was gorgeous! I feel like many people were surprised everything was so elegant and beautiful. When dinner was served, the bread and butter was delicious! This was a great preview of the mouthwatering dinner to come. The pot roast was amazing! Which also surprised me because usually catered food usual isn’t very good. But the pot roast tasted as if my grandmother made it.
Overall I gave Posh Banquets 5/5 stars but I wish I could give them 10 stars! They went above and beyond my expectations for my dad’s special day. My only wish is that my father was still here with us so that he could see everything. He would have loved it!

I could not ask for a better wedding, from the outdoor ceremony to the indoor reception and dinner, everything was on point. The food was delicious and staff was so great to us. Sarah was amazing!! She was quick to get things done during planning. It was definitely a day/night to remember.

Sarah Vogel, Sales Manager, worked tirelessly as we planned our big day; I’m most impressed about her responsiveness. I never had to wait for an answer. She exceeded our expectations. I want to start out by saying, Sarah (Coordinator) was incredible! She answered all over our questions without hesitation over the last 14 months. She helped our vision come to life. She was very professional, so friendly, and VERY pleasant to work with. I would highly recommend Posh Banquets to any upcoming brides. The food was incredible, the banquet hall was beautiful, the staff went above and beyond for us! We had an outdoor ceremony and it was gorgeous! Melissa and the team at Clarion in Joliet provided extraordinary and attentive service for a 2 1/2 day meeting my company held there in late November. From the beginning Melissa was responsive and flexible with my requests, which carried through the whole meeting. The guest rooms at the hotel and the meeting room were great. The food was excellent (their chef came in special for our team for lunch!) and the AV set up in the room worked well for our needs. I highly recommend them to anyone planning meetings in the area!

Sarah was the best! She was there every step of the way. She would respond within an hour. We used some of the preferred vendors and Sarah helped set it all up! We made changes the week before and Sarah was able to accommodate each one. The venue itself was gorgeous. The suite was big enough for everyone to get ready in. Each and every vendor was contacted the week of the wedding by Sarah making it much less stressful. McKenzi was our bartender and even though she was busy she made great drinks and everyone loved them. Great place for a smooth stress free wedding.

I cannot put into words how Sarah was so incredible to work with! The venue was beautiful and the food was delicious! Many people raved at how the food was the best they ever had at a wedding! The staff was great and had everything set so beautifully. This venue is a hidden jewel for sure. The entire planning process was so easy with Sarah’s guidance and she helped us create the wedding of our dreams.

We cannot say enough good things about Sarah (Senior Sales Manager) at Posh Banquets. She worked with us every step of the way planning all the venue details. She seemed genuinely excited to work with us the moment we met, and her enthusiasm continued all through the process. She had so many great suggestions. She was very accommodating and patient. She was never put off by our numerous questions or requests. She was very communicative and very prompt with responses. She paid attention to the tiny details which we appreciated. Couple of examples - first, ceremony was on site, and we did not want to see each other in full dress until the bride reached the center aisle for the ceremony. Sarah stood with the bride inside and made it a point to coordinate things so that the bride did not enter the courtyard until she confirmed the groom was not looking and would not see her. Second, when the ceremony was over and as official bride & groom, the two of us went inside to have 5 minutes to ourselves. Sarah was right there at the bar and had coordinated for the bartender make our favorite drinks ready when we arrived. The ceremony was in the courtyard where they have a newly built pergola, and Sarah gave us the freedom to decorate it. We dressed it up with faux flowers, greenery, and sashes of fabric. It turned out amazing. They also have a beautiful wrought iron gazebo as a great background for pictures. Inside, the ballroom is newly renovated, so everything top to bottom is new. They have nice size chandeliers with several lighting options to make the room feel just the way you want. Overall, we feel we got an excellent value for what we paid. Ballroom was beautiful and just what we were looking for, there were numerous compliments on the food, and Sarah was great throughout the process. Final note, the outside is not as nice as the inside, but it is a work in process. This place is a diamond in the rough!

Everything from the room to the cake, to the decorations, to the staff was more than I could ever have hoped for! Everyone who I spoke to had a wonderful time from the time that they arrived until we all departed! I could not have asked for a more well-planned and executed wedding!!!

I used Posh Banquets & Event Center for my daughters baby shower. Sarah Vogel was a great help to me and my mother as we planned the shower for our first granddaughter/great-granddaughter. I would highly recommend calling and using them for any event big or small. Ours was a kinda small about 50 family and friends. Everything was set up for us beautifully. They even helped with working my outside vendor for the candy and dessert buffet.

I had my daughter’s baby shower at Posh and everything was perfect - from location to the food! I’ve attended events there and knew Posh would be the perfect venue for it! Best of all, the event coordinator, Sarah, was an extreme pleasure to work with. She was extremely attentive, on top on every single detail and extremely helpful and accommodating.

My experience with Posh Banquets was incredible, I received much more than I expected for my money. The only concern we had was choosing between the different options of chairs, menu, decoration, and drinks. The staff was always friendly to me and all my guests. At the end of the party they gave me a bottle of wine that was quite good for us to close the night. I really liked the food. The wedding cake was very tasty, the customization and choice of flavors was very good. The control and timing of the event in charge of them, let me have more time to enjoy.

We went to Posh Banquets for their Mothers Day Brunch and it was fantastic! From not feeling overly-crowded to the table set-up, food & ambiance, it really was the perfect day for my family of 10. We will definitely go back!
